This week, NewDEAL Leader Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum hosted his third annual Community Summit on Children, a three-day event that convened experts and community partners to discuss new solutions and policies to improve children's lives. The annual Summit is a part of Mayor Gillum's Family First Agenda, which brings stakeholders together to develop ways to better invest in children in order to improve educational attainment and decrease poverty and crime.
