Removing Barriers to Jobs

A bill from NewDEAL Leader Norwalk, CT Senator Bob Duff to reform Connecticut's occupational licensing laws was signed into law this week and will take effect on January 1. The law gets rid of expensive occupational licenses for jobs that don't have educational or professional prerequisites, allowing more people to move into new careers.
