Connecting University Grads with Government Opportunities
Government agencies struggle to hire young graduates and fresh talent, but a new initiative from the Volcker Alliance aims to change that. With the development of regional councils to help federal, state, and local agencies determine their talent needs and work together to reach out to graduates, the initiative aims to get recent graduates interested in government opportunities. The initiative also identified a need for training opportunities for mid-career professionals who could help agencies fill technology jobs once they gain a new skill. Read more in Route Fifty about the regional councils and how they'll build a pipeline from university to government.
