Fall '17 New Leaders

The NewDEAL is proud to introduce you to the Fall Class of NewDEAL Leaders, and to congratulate them on being selected to join the NewDEAL network of exceptional, rising, pro-growth progressive state and local leaders -- 156 state and local elected leaders in 46 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Announcing the group, NewDEAL Honorary Co-Chairs Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) and former Delaware Governor Jack Markell said, “We congratulate and applaud these terrific leaders, who have shown a dedication to developing pro-growth, progressive policies that increase economic opportunity for everyone.”

New York Assemblyman Michael Blake, a NewDEAL Leader who is also a Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee, said, “As I travel the country working to build a pipeline of talented progressive elected officials, it is clear that NewDEAL Leaders are among those setting the standard for effective governance and earning the support of their constituents. I’m excited to welcome this new group of members who are proving that Democrats can win everywhere. I look forward to working with them in NewDEAL’s efforts to expand opportunity in communities throughout the country.”

We hope you'll take a moment today to welcome the NewDEAL Fall Class to the network on our Facebook page.

Thank you for your continued support and engagement as we work together to promote leaders and ideas working to grow the economy and expand opportunity for all!
